π A Friendly Reminder About Orders π
I wanted to take a moment to address something that has been happening quite a bit lately. π
Within my very first month of opening my small business, I had 13 orders totaling over $200 that were never paid for or picked up. Unfortunately, those were all items I had already spent my own money, time, and supplies making, and I ultimately had to throw them away.
As much as I love what I do and appreciate every single person who supports my business, I simply cannot afford to keep taking these losses. π₯Ί
I've also had quite a few people asking things like:
"Can you take $8 instead of $10.70?"
"Can I just pay you when I pick it up?"
"Can I give you $5 now and the rest later?"
I completely understand that everyone has different budgets, and I never want anyone to feel uncomfortable asking questions. However, my prices are my prices, and all orders must be paid IN FULL before I can begin making them. π
Unfortunately, I cannot accept partial payments, negotiate prices, or make orders with the promise of payment at pickup.
Please remember that when you order from a small business, you're not just paying for the finished product. You're also paying for the materials, equipment, electricity, time, and work that go into making something special just for you.
I genuinely try my best to keep my prices affordable for everyone, but I also need to make sure my business can continue to grow instead of gambling on taking losses.
Moving forward, no payment means no order will be started. This applies to everyone, and I hope you can understand why. π
Thank you so much to everyone who continues to support ionikDesigns, pays on time, picks up their orders, and respects the work that goes into every single item. You are truly appreciated more than you know! π₯°π
