A productive day at PACK EXPO 2026! 📦

Yesterday, Montenegro's Ken Bates, Fernando Fabela, and Angelina Precilio, MBA, attended PACK EXPO International at McCormick Place in Chicago, connecting with customers, visiting valued vendor partners, and exploring the latest innovations across the packaging industry.

From paperboard and sustainable packaging solutions to advancements in packaging technology, it was great to see the innovation driving our industry forward. We even had the opportunity to preview a new stretch wrap machine while exploring equipment options for one of our customers!

Events like these remind us of the value of strong partnerships, collaboration, and finding new ways to support our customers.

There’s something nostalgic about flipping through a printed book, circling your favorites, and dreaming about what’s under the tree.

🏃‍♀️ Good luck, Bank of America Chicago Marathon runners!

This Sunday, runners from around the world will take on 26.2 miles through the streets of Chicago, and we’ll be cheering them on!

💡 Did you know? Print and paper products are all around you on race day. Race bibs are often printed on durable synthetic materials such as PolyArt, designed to resist moisture and tearing, while spectators turn paper and paperboard into colorful signs of encouragement along the course.

From the bibs worn for 26.2 miles to the handmade signs that give runners a boost when they need it most, print plays a small but important role in the marathon experience.

A little throwback to our own Angelina Precilio, Director of Business Operations, crossing the Chicago Marathon finish line in 2018! 🏅

Best of luck to all of this year’s runners, and to everyone heading out to cheer them on. Enjoy every mile!

On Friday, we brought our team together for a special dinner cruise to celebrate an incredible milestone: 30 years of Montenegro.

Since 1996, our story has been shaped by the people who have worked alongside us, grown with us, supported our customers, and helped make Montenegro what it is today.

Three decades later, we’re proud of how far we’ve come, and even more grateful for the team, customers, partners, and friends who have been part of the journey.

Here’s to 30 years of relationships, hard work, growth, and plenty of memories along the way, and to everything still ahead. 🥂
