Dust settles over broken stone walls, forgotten banners, and ancient corridors. Whatever this hall used to be, age and collapse have turned it into an atmospheric stretch of ruins for any party brave enough to tread here.

For this layout, ruined wall sections give the impression of worn stone, while torch pillars placed down the main floor create a moody dungeon hallway across the scroll mat. Adding mounted shields and weapons along the back wall drops subtle clues that these ruins were once a fortified stronghold.

When was your party’s last HERO MOMENT?

Party members were going down left and right, low on HP, and we were barely hanging on. The room was tense. I knew if I didn’t pull off this next move, we were all done for and it’d be a total TPK.

I’d been rolling terrible all night, but I rolled a Nat 20. All of us stood up and yelled. The DM let me set up a combo move with another player for an epic cinematic killing blow, turning a doomed fight into a moment we still talk about years later. Looking back, everyone cheering like that made me feel so proud and truly like a hero.

It’s just such an incredible feeling when it happens. What’s a memorable hero moment from your campaign?
