Hello. We are happy to let you know that service has been restored from our main connection supplier. If the router and equipment doesn't come back on its own, please unplug the equipment from power for about 5 minutes, before plugging the router and equipment back into a working outlet. We want to take this opportunity to express our appreciation for your patience as our network supplier had issues. We are working on a solution to diminish this sort of issue in the future.

As many of you know, we get our main internet feed from PST. They have been able to restore service to some in our area. Unfortunately, we are not one of them. We have been in contact with them, and they are reassuring us that they are working on getting us reconnected as soon as possible. We know how frustrating this is, we are frustrated as well. We cannot express how sorry we are, and truly appreciate your continued patience!

As of November 3rd, around 7:30 pm, we began experiencing a system-wide outage. We have recently found out this is due to our provider having network issues. We have been in contact with our provider and are constantly monitoring the situation. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have an estimated time of restoration. We understand how frustrating this is, but we greatly appreciate your understanding and patience as this gets fixed. Thank you.

Our hearts go out to our community members affected by the Dixie Fires. If any of our current customers have lost internet equipment due to the fire, please reach out to us as we are here to help. For one's who's internet have been disconnected due to burned lines, we ask you to spread the word as we are offering specials for ones wanting to get a connection as we currently have service in Greenville, Chester, and Lake Almanore areas. To all MINetworks customers,

As you know, we are currently all being greatly affected by the Claremont Fire. We have been doing all that we can to keep the internet up and running, as we know how important this is during a crisis. However due to recent developments, the fire has crossed Highway 70 and is reaching the main power and fiber lines that run into Quincy. If it burns these lines, internet will be down until the lines can be repaired. Please bear with us and know that we will be doing all we can to get everyone’s internet back up and running as soon as possible!

With more people working remotely and homeschooling, many ISPs have been asked by the FCC to change their service by lifting data caps for internet service. We are happy to say nothing is changing here at MINetworks because we have never even had data caps!

Your download speeds don’t just depend on your Internet service provider’s advertised speeds. They also depend on the speeds of the servers you’re downloading from and the routers in between. For example, if you’re in the US and experience slowness when downloading something from a website in Europe, it may not be your Internet service provider’s fault at all — it may be because the website in Europe has a slow connection or the data is being slowed down at one of the routers in between you and the European servers.
