Don't get roped into buying a base package and then investing in addons for only one feature, and then another addon for a different feature. For 5 users that's at least $1500/year. With the next level usually 10 users your paying $3000/year. Add 2 and you find out single user licenses are now $35/user and your annual bill is $3800. Imagine owning your own software with unlimited users for a $3500 one time custom built solution. Now you decide to add on a new feature. It most likely is in the neighborhood of $500. That solution fits your companies needs for the next 10 years. You have $4000 invested plus $20/year webhosting. Total Cost of Ownership over 10 years is $6000 (hosting included) vs the competitor's $38,000 10 year plan provided you have no more than 8 people in your organization over 10 years. Final option is hire a full time developer for $70k+ benefits. If your planning on staying in business for the next decade or so and would like to save some money.
