Interested in learning to sew? Wanting to create you own garments that are fashionable and made to last? Suzi Gurney will be teaching Beginning Sewing starting Sept 11 at Portland Fashion Institute. Don't know how to use a machine? This is the class for you! Course is 12 weeks (you can take 4,8 or all 12 weeks). Class is on Monday evenings 6-9pm. Start with an apron, then a robe, and finish the class with pajamas. All made with professional techniques you will learn. $99 for each 4 week course (a bargain!) or $289 if you sign up for all 3 units. Great for high school students!

Thank you to everyone who came to the fashion club meetings and to the two fashion shows this year! I appreciate you supporting my idea to have this club so much, it means a lot to me and I'm so glad to have created a outlet for fashion at CHS that hopefully will continue on next year. Thank you especially to Suzi Gurney for introducing me to new people and events and supporting me.
