I have realized that social media is an addiction that I have no hopes of overcoming so long as it’s present in my life. I have no desire to be famous or even recognized for my art anymore, but the addictive nature of this platform and the way it preys on creatives keeps me screaming into the void to “look at me” despite me wanting to disappear completely.

Seala and I have been doing tremendous amounts of unpacking our lives and our traumas in therapy and it’s brought an awareness to my day to day behavior and mental state that I’ve been mostly dissociating from and turning a blind eye to and I cannot keep following this rabbit hole to my demise.

24 hours from now I will be deleting, not deactivating, any and all traces of me, and Polygon Rainbow from social media. I have decided to leave things that are already on streaming platforms and bandcamp, but I will no longer be actively posting or sharing new things to either. I will also be performing my last set as Polygon Rainbow at Applecross Music and Arts Festival - 2024 If you know me, you know that I couldn’t stop creating if I tried, I’m just going to turn that focus inward.

My biggest fomo about deleting socials is losing connection with so many people I truly love. If you’re seeing this, and you want to stay connected, please shoot me a DM with your contact info.

It’s time for me to detach from this mess, and be with my family.
