Today I am Celebrating 1 Year since I quit my job and became a full time business owner. Below is a post that I shared Dec 7, 2017 on a large Facebook group of online and eCommerce business building warriors. If you want to build a business selling on Amazon, you need to be part of the My Silent Team facebook group.
This past year I have mad many mistakes, learned alot of lessons, and continued to be challenged and grow. I am grateful for the flexibility that my business brings. I am excited to help others reach their goals. Cheers to your success!

SUCCESS STORY (long post) – Hello MST, I wanted to add my name to the list of many Proven Amazon Course (PAC) success stories. Today, project “Bring Daddy Home” has been completed! Today was my last day as a manager at one of Amazon’s US Fulfillment Centers. I have left a six-figure job as well as future stock grants in order to pursue my business full-time! Now I control where I work, when I work, and who I work with. Now, I can plan my work around my family instead of family around work! I am a Business Building Warrior!
I started researching Amazon FBA in January 2014 and had my first sale on 3/10/14. I discovered PAC in the fall of 2014 and over the years have benefitted from many classes including Proven Q4, Proven Private Label, PPI, and most recently PAF. The PAC team is cutting edge!
My business is 20% Private Label (import from overseas), 5% Wholesale, and 75% Retail Arbitrage. I have a part time RA shopper (2 days per week) and 4 part time “warehouse” workers including my 19 yr old son that is the Warehouse Mgr (warehouse is my garage). 2017 will end the year with high six-figure in sales and conservative profit of 20% after expenses.
I have made many sourcing mistakes over the years and count each one as education. However, despite some fear, I continued to take chances and make bold decisions. There is no failure, only learning (although some of the work stations in the “warehouse” consist of plywood on top of boxes of failure).
Tips: Education and Action. I listened to podcasts during my 1-hour commute back and forth to my 12+ hour per day job, including Silent Jim. I took small action each day to grow my business and with limited time, focused on growth actions instead of administrative actions.
Future: Scale PL and Wholesale portion of my business. Eliminate my need to physically touch product. Scale Merch. Establish processes so my business grows without me. Teach and support others that also want to “Bring Mommy or Daddy Home”.
