I shook out a whole lot of bugs that were keeping my site from being truly accessible. Now, things are operating much smoother, the color contrast is excellent, and it's built for screen readers, SEO, and keyboard navigation.

So, what does this all mean? With accessibility, more people are able to interact with my site, and it will be that much harder to sue me into the ground.

Now, let's talk about YOUR website. Is it ADA-compliant and legal?

I'd love to hear from you! I'm working on having answers for the most common questions on my site, and it's got me thinking: What are my most frequently asked questions? So, if it's about Computer and Device repairs, web development, or how I run my business, reach out!

Also, soon people will be able to give testimonials 😎 I've got a lot of moving parts this week.

It's been a little quiet on my end, but here's the latest and greatest:

- I now offer a contact form for anyone to get ahold of me. My email was getting crowded and I hope this will improve response time.
- I reduced the number of available site themes for quality control purposes. There is just light and dark now.
- Myself, and some gentlemen from Sequim PC Users Group are putting out feelers to see how much interest there would be in a Linux Users Group for the North Olympic Peninsula.

If you'd like any more information about the Linux Users Group, feel free to reach out!

Instead of wiping out jobs, AI is shifting the tasks of developers.

"The job will look different. That doesn't mean it's going away," said Amanda Richardson, the CEO of CoderPad, a hiring platform companies use to interview software engineers. https://cnn.it/3PW4bzz

Yesterday was a beautiful day for the Open Source movement. Pushers of AI slop keep fumbling basic security protections, and I'm here for it.

Not all coding problems are AI-generated. On Tuesday, Anthropic said a leak triggered by a “human error” exposed 500,000 lines of source code underlying its marquee AI coding assistant Claude Code.

The company said the leak didn’t impact sensitive customer data or its AI models, but it did reveal some details about how Anthropic built the tool’s user interface. By Wednesday, Anthropic used copyright takedown requests to pull down 8,000 copies posted on GitHub.

It’s a bad look for Anthropic. Claude Code, which brought in $2.5 billion in run rate revenue as of February, has helped it gain an edge against its rivals and boost its business.

Worse, it’s Anthropic’s second data mishap of the week. Read more: https://www.forbes.com/sites/the-prompt/2026/04/01/what-anthropics-leak-means-for-the-coming-wave-of-dark-code/?utm_campaign=ForbesMainFB&utm_source=ForbesMainFacebook&utm_medium=social

The future of social media has no place for X or Meta. The future of social media is not some other company storing and controlling your data. BlueSky is just a small taste of the Atmosphere (AtProto), and censorship will make or break your service.

If you want to operate out of your socials with no core domain to call your own, that's your business. Even if you have a Wix site, you're going to hit a wall, and I'll be ready for when you want to expand past it. I'd just hate to see you lose it all before that time. I am more than just a Web Designer, and more than just a Web Developer. My PC skills have surpassed any one job title. I have BIG DREAMS for Port Angeles. Don't sleep on it!
