Back when the internet was cool, I made a friend on DeviantArt. He sent me this awesome piece that he made while stationed in Japan? I think?

Anyway, every roommate/significant other that I ever lived with hated it, so I carted it around for more years than I care to count (because I fkn LOVE IT in all its 9 foot glory).

Today, I hung “Legolas Shirt Forever” and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks, Seth. Sorry I didn’t fight for it sooner. It took me a long time to become a person.

Back to drawing after a very long hiatus. I wasn’t enjoying the process anymore. I bought into trying to make my stuff all one thing for that algorithm perfecting cohesion, but it just isn’t how my brain operates. I’m interested in making things when I feel like it, in whatever style catches my attention that day.
Also, I wanted to work on midtones.
