Project 440, a Philadelphia based nonprofit organization, is thrilled to be partnering with the School District of Philadelphia in co-presenting this long treasured Philadelphia cultural institution. All-City has been dedicated to opening doors and broadening educational and vocational horizons for students in Philadelphia for more than 75 years. Building on that history and the incredible work of
the Philadelphia School District, its itinerant teachers, conductors, volunteers, parents, and the enthusiastic students themselves, Project 440 is excited to infuse its curriculum into the All-City program. Project 440 program offerings will provide All-City students with a broader depth of life and learning skills including college and career preparedness, leadership building, entrepreneurship, and community engagement training. Our goal is to produce 21st century musicians – both civic minded individuals and ambassadors for music. Our students will not only be excellent musicians, but, through music, become the future leaders of our great city and beyond!
