I’ve never been told I do anything half-assed and the next few weeks are a testament to it all the hard work I’ve put in over the last 18 months or so.

For the next month I’ll be even quieter on social media, but I’ll be racking up the travel miles and MBs speaking in person at Toronto NDC Conferences in Toronto and Dynamics User Group (DUG) DynamicsCon in Vegas; and virtually for SOAHR 2026, M365 Dublin User Group, and the Renal Healthcare Association.

And if that wasn’t enough already, I’ll be a guest on the most appropriately titled podcast for my life right now: Overcaffeinated and Out of Effs with Christi Gmyr.

Now to book flights for July and September gigs...

As 2025 draws to a close and I accomplished my big public speaking goal, I am thinking of what’s next on my professional bucket list for next year as my own stop/start/continue exercise.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who supported my crazy, ambitious professional development goal this year.

It was now or never to face my fear of public speaking, and in doing so, I learned what it takes to deliver a quality session on a variety of topics, both virtually and in person.

From my dining room to Michigan, from Chicago to Kansas City, it was an amazing ride. I can't wait to see what 2026 has in store!

Earlier this month I travelled to Kansas City to deliver two presentations, building trust through active listening and change management.

I’m so glad I had the time to visit the American Jazz Museum and American Negroes Baseball Museum, take KC Streetcar from River Market to Union Station (interior shown), and eat my weight in BBQ.

Amazing time in Chicago at DynamicsCon!

So thankful to have been selected as a presenter for a cross product talk on Change Management—a lot of great sessions to attend, I’m proud to have been one. I sincerely appreciated all the questions and learning more about attendees’ work and challenges to kick solutions around.

Attending conferences alone can be a challenge but I found this event so welcoming, it was easy to make introductions and get to know people.
