Thursdays are for Inspiration.

This week's inspiration came from someone I've admired my entire life—my dad.

At 86 years old, my father and I have been spending a lot of time talking about his life, his journey, and the vision God placed in his heart to establish New Hope. Every conversation reminds me that some of life's greatest treasures aren't found in books—they're found in the stories of those who walked faithfully before us.

Those conversations inspired me to create a new video series called The Founder's Chair.

It's not a podcast. It's simply an opportunity to sit with my dad each week, ask him a question about his life, and capture the wisdom, faith, lessons, victories, failures, and memories that have shaped him into the man he is today.

I also had the privilege of designing the logo for the series, and I'm excited to watch this vision come to life.

My prayer is that these conversations will become more than videos. I hope they become a lasting gift for his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, future generations, and everyone who has been impacted by the ministry and legacy God built through him.

Too often we wait until it's too late to ask the questions we wish we had asked. I don't want that to be our story.

His chair represents more than a seat.
It represents wisdom.
It represents sacrifice.
It represents vision.
It represents legacy.

Sometimes the greatest inspiration isn't creating something new—it's preserving something priceless before it's gone.

Who in your life has a story that deserves to be recorded? Don't wait. Pull up a chair and start the conversation today.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is pause.

This week's Word for the Week is EXHALE.

Take a deep breath. You've carried enough.

WORD FOR THE WEEK: WISDOM

Wisdom is more than knowing what is right.

It is having the discernment to apply truth in the right way, at the right time, for the right purpose.

Knowledge fills the mind, but wisdom guides the life.

This week, don't just seek answers—seek wisdom.

Ask God to help you see beyond the obvious, discern what truly matters, and make choices that align with His purpose for your life.

Wisdom helps us navigate challenges, steward opportunities, and grow into the people God has called us to be.

That’s the heart behind Divine Inspirations.

🌟 Shout Out Saturday 🌟

Today, I'm giving a special shout out to my husband, my partner in ministry, business, and life.

One of the many things I love and appreciate about him is his unwavering support. Whenever God places a vision in my heart, he is always willing to help bring it to life. Recently, when I decided to create a mascot for Born Again Buddy, I didn't even have to ask him to help. He immediately volunteered to put on the costume and become Buddy himself!

While it may seem like a small thing, it's just one more example of how he consistently supports my dreams, ideas, and ventures. Whether we're serving in ministry, building businesses, or navigating life together, he is always there, encouraging, helping, and cheering me on.

Thank you for being such an incredible husband, teammate, and friend. I am grateful that we get to do life, ministry, and purpose together.

Today, I celebrate you. ❤️

Fearless Friday.

Years ago, I remember calling my older sister—who is now my Pastor—because I was genuinely concerned about my future.

Not because I didn't have any gifts.

Because I had too many.

I excelled academically. I loved creativity. I felt called to ministry. I had ideas for businesses. I enjoyed teaching. I could see possibilities everywhere.

And I didn't know what to do with all of it.

The world likes neat categories.

Pick one thing.
Choose one lane.
Stay in your box.

But what do you do when God didn't build you that way?

If I'm honest, I still wrestle with this.

I'm constantly told that I'm "too much" or that I "do too much."

For years, I saw that as a criticism.

Now I'm beginning to wonder if it might actually be confirmation.

Maybe the problem isn't that I'm too much.

Maybe the problem is that we've become so comfortable with shrinking ourselves that anyone operating in the fullness of their gifts seems excessive.

God never asked me to become less.

He asked me to steward what He gave me.

Fearless Friday is my reminder that I don't have to apologize for what God placed inside me.

And neither do you.

Stop shrinking your gift.

The world doesn't need a smaller version of who God created you to be.

Thursdays are for Inspiration.

One of my favorite creative challenges is taking a single idea and carrying it through every detail of an event.

For my niece's wedding, the inspiration began with the invitation. The soft blush florals, rich emerald tones, elegant typography, and touches of gold became the foundation for the entire celebration.
What makes this project especially meaningful to me is that I didn't just design one piece—I designed and created every element shown here.

From the invitation that introduced the vision, to the bridesmaids' bouquets, backdrop, welcome signage, seating chart, wedding booklet, and the memorial table we created in loving memory of my mother—my niece's grandmother—every detail was intentionally designed to work together and tell the same story.

Watching an idea move from a computer screen to a fully realized experience is one of the things I love most about what I do. Seeing the colors, textures, and design elements flow seamlessly from the invitation into the décor reminded me that great design is about more than making something beautiful. It's about creating connection, consistency, and moments people will remember.

The memorial table held a special place in my heart. It was a beautiful way to honor my mother's presence in a celebration she would have loved to attend. Moments like that remind me that design has the power to tell stories, preserve memories, and make people feel seen and remembered.

At Divine Inspirations by Alicia, I love helping clients bring their vision to life—from the first impression to the final detail.
Because the most meaningful designs aren't just seen—they're felt.

WORD FOR THE WEEK...

If I'm being honest, this word is for me.

I've been struggling with consistency lately, and this week I'm reminding myself that consistency is not about being perfect--it's about continuing to show up.

Even small steps matter.
Even starting again matters.

WORD OF THE WEEK: OPTIMISM

This week, I’m choosing optimism—not because life is perfect, but because I still believe God is working, growing, healing, and making a way.

FEARLESS FRIDAY 🐻✨

Today was one of those moments that reminded me why faith matters.

Buddy finally arrived.

What started as an idea, a prayer, and a vision to help children know Jesus in a real and meaningful way is now standing right in front of me.

There were moments I questioned if I should even do this. Moments I wondered if people would understand the vision. But sometimes faith means creating anyway. Building anyway. Believing anyway.

And today, I got to hug a dream that once only existed in my heart.

Don’t be afraid to give life to what God gave you.

Thursdays are for Inspiration.

This week, I’ve been thinking about how one message can take on so many forms.

What begins as a Word on Sunday becomes a devotional during the week…
a visual that people can reflect on…
and a video that continues to speak beyond the moment it was preached.

And now, through my Born Again Buddy devotionals, even my father’s voice—reading Scripture and praying—becomes part of that experience.

That part means more to me than I can fully explain.

Helping a message not just be heard once, but experienced in different ways… and now preserved for generations… is something I don’t take lightly.

At Divine Inspirations by Alicia, I don’t just create content—I help extend the life of a message.
