1) Turn on automatic backups.
• iPhone: Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Photos → Sync this iPhone ON (consider iCloud+ 50–200GB).
• Android: Google Photos → profile pic → Photos settings → Backup ON.

2) Free up space safely.
• iPhone: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Offload Unused Apps; Photos → Optimize iPhone Storage.
• Android: Google Photos → Library → Utilities → Free up space.

3) Share the album the easy way.
• iPhone (Photos): Albums → + → New Shared Album → invite family.
• Google Photos: Sharing tab → Create shared album → add people or send link.

Pro tip: Plug in overnight on Wi-Fi to finish uploads. For extra peace of mind, make a second copy to a USB drive (Lightning/USB-C) or your computer.

1) Don’t tap mystery links.
Texts that say “package undeliverable,” “account locked,” or “you won a prize” are almost always scams. Open the official app/website instead.

2) Silence unknown callers.
iPhone: Settings → Phone → Silence Unknown Callers → On
Android (most phones): Phone app → Settings → Caller ID & spam → Enable filters

3) Report & block texts in 5 seconds.
iPhone: Long-press the text → Report Junk → Block Contact
Android: Three dots on the message → Report spam → Block

Pro tip: Never pay strangers with gift cards or Zelle/CashApp/Venmo. Real companies don’t ask for those.
