"Call for pricing" used to feel smart. Now AI tools are answering "how much does this cost near me?" for your customers, and if you don't give them a number, they'll quote a competitor who did. You don't need an exact menu. A range plus what makes the price go up or down is plenty. This week, add a "What does it cost?" section to your main service page and watch who starts calling.

"Call for pricing" isn't mysterious. It's a speed bump. Your customers want a ballpark before they call, and AI tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI answers can only quote numbers they can find. This week: add a "starting at" price, what's included, and what changes the price to your most popular service page. Your phone will ring with better leads, not fewer.

Your customers are asking ChatGPT for gift ideas this year, and 42% of holiday shoppers say they're likely to use AI tools to shop. But AI can only recommend what it can read, and your disappearing Instagram Stories don't count. This week, build one simple Holiday Gift Guide page on your website with real items, real prices, and who each one is perfect for. Give AI something to recommend, and it just might recommend you.

ChatGPT recommended just 1.2% of local businesses in a new 350,000-location study. 😬

One big reason? It can't figure out which version of you is real.

Google says you close at 5. Your website says 6. Yelp still has your old number. To a robot, that's three different businesses... and it's not recommending any of them.

So we wrote a prompt that catches it for you.

πŸ”Ž The Listing Lie Detector: Paste in your info from Google, your website, Apple Maps, and Facebook. It builds a mismatch table, flags every tiny difference (yes, "LLC" counts), writes the corrected text to paste, and tells you what to fix first.

20 seconds. Zero spreadsheets.

Grab the full prompt in this week's Firestarter Forum (link in bio). Then comment "FIXED" when your listings finally agree with each other. πŸ”₯

Do this right now. It takes 5 minutes and it will ruin your afternoon in the most productive way possible. 😬

Ask ChatGPT: "Who are the best [your service] in [your city]?" Write down every name that comes up.
Then ask: "Why did you recommend them?" The AI will straight up tell you. Reviews. Directory listings. Press mentions. That's your roadmap, free.

Getting recommended by AI isn't about the prettiest website. It's about being mentioned in enough credible places that AI is confident you're real and you're good.

If someone joins your email list and hears nothing from you for months, you just wasted a warm lead. A welcome sequence (three or four emails that go out automatically after signup) fixes that permanently: you build it once and it works while you sleep.

This week, write just the first email: a warm hello, what makes you different, and a clear next step, then set it to send automatically. That's the whole assignment.

"Founded in 2011. Passionate about quality." Cool. Your customer already left. πŸ‘‹
Nobody lands on your site to read your resume. They land with a problem and about 8 seconds to decide if you solve it.

Swap the hero. Not: "We're a full-service landscaping company committed to excellence." Instead: "You want a yard you're proud of without losing every Saturday. We handle it."
Same company. Completely different feeling.

This week: count the "we"s vs the "you"s on your homepage. Then fix the headline. Link in bio if you'd rather we did it.

You don't need a new idea for every post, you need to stop treating one good piece of content like a one-time use. Take your best post from the last month and cut it into three new pieces: a quote graphic, a short clip, a caption with a fresh angle.

This week, repurpose before you create from scratch. Your audience won't notice the recycling, they'll just notice you're suddenly everywhere.

Google's AI is answering questions about your business right now. It did not ask your permission and it is working with a two-year-old review and a phone number you changed.

Here's the fix, and it takes forty minutes once.

The 12 questions your customers ask an AI before they hire anybody in your category? Write the answers. Publish them. Match the wording to your Google profile exactly.

The rules that make it work: β†’ Answer yes or no in the first five words β†’ Name the actual towns, not "the metro area" β†’ Put a real number wherever a number exists β†’ Delete every word you can't prove

"We're passionate about quality service" cannot be repeated by a machine to a buyer. "Yes, we do ceramic coating in Parker for $700 to $1,400 and it takes two days" absolutely can.

Full prompt is in this week's Firestarter Forum. Free, no gate. Link in bio.

You didn't start your business to write FAQ pages. That's our job.

Instagram isn't a feed anymore. It's a search engine.

Half of Gen Z searches TikTok and IG before they ever open Google. They're typing "med spa Denver" and "best tacos near me" right into the app.

Your caption that says "obsessed with this one πŸ”₯" is invisible to every one of those searches.
This week: say what it is, where you are, who it's for. First line. Ten extra seconds.

Go search your own service + your city. See who shows up. Then fix it (or let us). Link in bio.
