Your Facebook ads might not be the problem.

When marketing isn't producing results, the answer isn't always "create better ads or "get cheaper leads."

Sometimes the ads are doing exactly what they're supposed to do.

The problem happens after the click.

A prospect sees your ad.

They become interested.

They visit your website or sales funnel.

And then something breaks.

Maybe:

The message doesn't match what they clicked on.
The offer isn't clear.
The next step isn't obvious.
The funnel creates too much friction.

At that point, increasing traffic doesn't solve the problem.

It just sends more people into the same experience.

This is why I never look at paid ads in isolation.

I look at how every piece works together:

The message.

The offer.

The funnel.

The conversion path.

The lead quality.

Because great marketing isn't one perfect strategy.

It's alignment.

And when the pieces work together, that's when marketing becomes predictable.

The first question I ask when reviewing a campaign isn't

"What's your cost per lead?"

It's:

"๐—”๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜ ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐˜€?"

Because a low cost per lead can look great inside an ad account while creating frustration inside the business.

You can generate 200 leads...

But if those leads:

โ€ข aren't qualified
โ€ข don't understand your offer
โ€ข don't book calls
โ€ข or aren't the type of clients you actually want to work with

then the campaign isn't creating growth.

It's creating activity.

I've seen businesses celebrate a $3 lead while wondering why revenue isn't increasing.

I've also seen businesses pay more for leads that turned into better customers because the targeting, messaging, and funnel were aligned.

That's why I don't optimize campaigns around one metric.

I look at the bigger picture:

โ†’ Are we attracting the right people?
โ†’ Are they moving through the customer journey?
โ†’ Are they taking the next step?
โ†’ Is the marketing creating real business opportunities?

A lower cost per lead is only valuable when it leads to better outcomes.

Because the goal isn't more leads.

The goal is more of the ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜ leads.

What metric are you paying the most attention to right nowโ€”cost per lead or lead quality?

For awhile, I stepped back from posting because I was spending more time doing the work than talking about it.

I've worked behind the scenes with businesses on everything from branding and websites to Meta ads, funnels, and marketing strategy.

And over the last 7 years, one thing became clear, businesses needed more help with the customer journey and optimizing their offers for sales.

You can have a great logo, an impactful website, and beautiful graphics, but those creatives in isolation don't convert to sales by themselves.

You can have all those things but also have messaging that isn't connecting, a funnel that isn't converting, traffic that isn't attracting the right people, or a customer journey that creates unnecessary friction, and suddenly all of those beautiful assets become disconnected tactics instead of a cohesive strategy that consistently generates qualified leads and booked calls.

As I watched businesses focus on individual tactics instead of the customer journey as a whole, it changed how I approach every client engagement.

Today, I work with established coaches, consultants, and service-based businesses to improve what happens before and after someone clicks an ad, visits a website, or engages with a piece of marketing material, because that's where predictable growth is built.

You'll still see me talk about the importance of strong branding and a website that builds trust.

But you'll also see me share what happens after someone lands on your website. The decisions, behaviors, and strategy that turn attention into real business opportunities.

If you've been here for a while, welcome back.

If you're new here, I'm glad you're here.

I'm looking forward to sharing more of what I've learned from working behind the scenes and having conversations with business owners who are ready to grow with intention.
