GRADING AND DRAINAGE. Fortunately most grading and drainage issues found during a home inspection aren't as significant as the one in this picture. However, even minor drainage problems if not corrected can lead to moisture damage and are an invite for termites to take up residence.

A little shovel work now while the soil is soft and temperatures are cool can prevent problems come monsoon next year.
