Legal aid teams carry some of the most sensitive information there is — and often with the least amount of time to think about how to protect it.

That's the gap this CLE session is built for.

Our founder, Josh Lazar, will be joining a panel hosted by the The Florida Bar - Cybersecurity and Privacy Law Committee to talk through what a cybersecurity risk assessment actually looks like for a legal aid organization — no jargon, no assumption that you have an IT department standing by.

He'll be joined by Chuck Bowens - Chief Counsel (Citizens Property Insurance Corporation), Eli Mattern - Directer of Technology (Community Legal Services ) and moderator Monique Keels (Managing Attorney Brief Services & Advice Helpline (Community Legal Services) to walk through identifying sensitive data, mapping where it lives, and prioritizing risk in a way that actually fits how legal aid programs operate day to day.

At TTT we've spent a lot of time in rooms like this one — helping mission-driven teams figure out where to start when "cybersecurity" feels like a big, vague word attached to a small, overworked staff. This session is a good place to start that conversation.

Being at this conference is truly eye opening and we look forward to seeing how this properls us forward.

Last night's exhibit hall kick off was Tribute to Broadway and our CEO & Founder, Josh Lazar, rolled out the royal red carpet as King George III from Hamilton.

What an experience so far. Being in spaces like this with top legal tech minds is incredibly eye opening.
