When I was a young boy in the 1990s, my mom bought me the purple Gameboy color. I was a bit surprised at the color choice at the time, but by now we all know that Nintendo absolutely slapped with their choice of purple and indigo colored consoles.
I miss my old grape Gameboy color, I don't remember when I stopped having it anymore, but if I still had it, I'd get this service done for it.

When do repairs get expensive? When someone professional or not gets in there and destroys things. If this Switch had come to us first, the repair would have been routine and not had any extra charges
