You may have seen articles from police and news outlets saying a new iPhone feature called NameDrop is dangerous, especially for kids.
Every article I’ve seen is inaccurate when they say, “Just bringing your phones close together shares all your personal information.” That’s inaccurate.
You must first tap “Share” to send any info.

Don’t turn off NameDrop. It’s very useful, and it’s not dangerous. It seems the police need some iCan Help training.
