“Enter At Your Own Risk” is title of this one and not only applies to the FUN HOUSE aspect of the painting but also to my brain.

Because of my innate acuity and obsessive desire to create controlled chaos, entering into the depths of my mind should be done at your own risk (it’s crazy in there!).

What I enjoy about my process is that even though it can appear to be an explosion of randomness, every single element was carefully chosen and placed with thoughtful consideration for the overall theme and visual balance.

And all this supposed nothingness becomes something in the end. How I got there was just as much a wild ride as how I hope you’ll interpret the piece in its finished state.

I couldn’t hide my poker face when I was asked to create a playing card (along with 52 other artists) for a commemorative deck celebrating the 20th Anniversary of !

I first attended Art & Soul more than 15 years ago, then became their graphic designer, then I even taught some opening night classes at their retreats!

And I have to say that the mixed media workshops I’ve taken there over the years have been a HUGE influence on the work I do now!

So when the draw of the cards dealt me the Ace of Clubs… I definitely turned to my good pal Weaser Ices… for the Aces! This was such a fun project and I was so delighted to be a part of it.

I’m beyond excited to announce a secret project I’ve been working on… custom Larry David Knock Down Dolls! They’re for The Big Bald Art Show, an exhibition featuring art solely focused on everyone’s favorite, bald, neurotic curmudgeon — from artists around the world. Originally planned for an LA opening, the show must go on and an entire Larry David fan website, gallery and shop has been created exclusively for this exhibit. So don’t Curb Your Enthusiasm... go ahead and check out the link in comments...
