🛠️ Intro to 3D Design with Autodesk Fusion – This Saturday!

Ever wanted to design your own parts for 3D printing, CNC, or laser cutting but didn’t know where to start?

Join us this Saturday for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the fundamentals of Autodesk Fusion, one of the most powerful (and free for hobbyists) 3D design tools available today.

In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to:
• Navigate the Fusion interface
• Create precise sketches and turn them into 3D models
• Understand the basics of parametric design
• Prepare your designs for 3D printing

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have designed your own 3D model from scratch and gained the core skills needed to continue designing at home.

This class is perfect for:
✔ Makers and hobbyists
✔ Anyone interested in 3D printing
✔ Beginners with little or no CAD experience

Learn the entire process of taking a digital file and turning it into a physical object with our 3D printers. In this workshop, we'll look at the different ways to get a 3D model and the process of preparing the model for 3D printing. We'll also cover basic 3D printer operation and how to avoid failed prints. Everyone will leave with a 3D printed part. We'll be using the Bambu Studio as the slicer and the Bambu X1 Carbon 3D printers in the makerspace. Completion of this workshop is required in order to obtain your 3D Printer Badge and use the makerspace 3D printers.

Learn the entire process of taking a digital file and turning it into a physical object with our 3D printers. Completion of this workshop will earn you your 3D Printing Badge which is required to use the makerspace 3D printers. We will use the Bambu X1 Carbon 3D printers.
