Remember the rainbow es**rt cards* from my last post? When the party guests arrived at their tables these little place cards were waiting for them. ❤️🖋

*Technical wedding etiquette (aka things I didn't know until I became a calligrapher): es**rt cards include the table number where you'll be sitting and are usually displayed on a side table. Place cards are set at your place at the table, and show you where to sit. You can use either, or both, or neither!

This was a really fun one. Several hundred es**rt cards with names on tiny envelopes and table numbers (they used years) on the tiny cards inside. All colors randomly assorted. Wish I could have seen them all on display, but the party was in Ireland! 🤷‍♀️☘️🌈

My dad, Peter Malkin, would have turned 84 today. When I was a child, he used the expression "skyblue pink" to playfully refer to what I assumed must be the most beautiful color in the world. I think he would have been pleased and amused to see it as my business name. Happy birthday, Dad. xo
