So to contrast the previous 2 videos of showing how to set up a microcontroller how to blink an led, I'll go over how to use the arduino board to do the same thing. its less complicated as the arduino IDE program connects directly to the arduino board.
if you're interested in dipping your toe into experimenting with electronics getting an arduino board is pretty easy and inexpensive. with an arduino uno or nano board ($5-$20), a general assortment pack of electronic components ($15-$20), a bread board ($3-$5), and a pack of jumper wires ($3-$5) and you're up and running. you don't need to know how to code, most of this is already out there, all you need to know how to do is copy and paste. there is a TON of stuff on arduino's site and on the internet in general and there are thousand's of projects out there.
