When you buy local, you aren't just supporting a "business." You're supporting our family.

We aren't just another vendor on your spreadsheet. We're the neighbors you see at the grocery store and the parents you sit next to at the Friday night game.

My name is Bryce, and for me, "local" is personal. My family and I live right here in North Platte.

At Avid Media, we treat your brand's growth like our own... because in this community, it is. When your business thrives, our families grow stronger together.

What I've learned after running a digital marketing agency in rural Nebraska.

-> Local relationships beat any algorithm. Our best leads come from clients who told a friend.

-> Consistency is harder than creativity. Anyone can post one great thing. Showing up every week — that's the job.

-> Small business owners don't want a vendor. They want a partner who knows their name, their kids, and their goals.

-> Results matter more than reach. A client with 200 engaged local followers beats 10,000 random ones every time.

-> The community you serve is your biggest marketing asset. Invest in it, and it invests back.

Building Avid in North Platte has been the privilege. I'm excited for what's next.

Three kids, one door, and about four different moods captured in one photo.

People ask me all the time how I balance running Avid Media with everything else going on at home. Honest answer? Some days I don't... and that's okay.

This is my crew, end-of-summer, mid-chaos, right before we headed out the door.

Building a business in North Platte means building it around a family, not instead of one.

These three are a big part of why "we live here" isn't just our tagline. It's Tuesday morning drop-offs, Friday night swimming, and knowing the same faces at the grocery store that I see at client meetings.

The kids are heading back to school, school pictures are being taken. Something about this season always makes me pause.

There's something about this time of year that reminds me why I do what I do.

New backpacks. New teachers. New chances. New pictures.

We talk a lot about business at Avid. Reach, engagement, websites, strategy. But underneath all of it, the reason is simple:

I want North Platte to be the kind of place my daughter is proud to grow up in. And that means the businesses and organizations here need to thrive.

Every website we build, every campaign we run, every story we tell, it's all in service of that.

To every parent, teacher, and business owner in our community heading into a new season... we're grateful to be in your corner.

This is what it looks like when you actually do the work.

Paint on your hands. Avid shirt on. Zero regrets.

The messy part is where the good stuff happens, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

It's gonna be a great week, North Platte. Let's get our hands dirty. 🎨

We work with businesses most agencies wouldn't know how to talk to. That's the point.

Rooster Sanitation - a sanitation company in North Platte.

Not a Fortune 500. Not a venture-backed startup. A family-owned business that keeps our community clean.

The businesses in towns like ours don't need flashy campaigns. They need someone who understands their community and knows how to tell their story to the people who live in it.

That's what Avid was built for.

July. What a month.

Foundations are being laid... literally... for two major projects right here in North Platte.

Honor Homes at Patty's Place, the tiny home community for Veterans experiencing homelessness, is taking shape on 5th Street.

Alongside Thriving Connections Apartments, Connection Homeless Shelter $14.5 million, 44-unit permanent supportive housing project at Francis and Bryan, opens its first six duplexes next month, with a full 32-unit building coming in November. (Professionally managed by DP Management, LLC)

Both built for the people who need a hand up, not a handout. That's North Platte.

Meanwhile, our local sales tax nearly hit an all-time record, securing a full $650,000 Quality Growth Fund allocation for the sixth year in a row. Six straight years. This city is building something real.

And somewhere in between client meetings and strategy sessions, Scotty McCreery played the Lincoln County Fairgrounds on a Friday night under a Nebraska sky. It doesn't get much more North Platte than that.

This work is a privilege. This community makes it easy to show up.

Nobody tells you this when you start a business. They probably should.

In a small market, your reputation walks into the room before you do.

North Platte and Ogallala aren't big enough to be anonymous. Every client, every missed deadline, every good save, it all travels. That’s terrifying and also the best reason to always show up right.

I haven’t done it right every time. I’ve missed deadlines, taken too long to reply, not delivered my best work. But every miss taught me something the wins never could.

The version of myself who started Avid Media didn't know any of this. He figured it out the same way everyone does, by getting it wrong first.

If you're building something right now you're not alone in the hard parts.

I adopted my daughter in January. Here's what it taught me about running a business.

Becoming a dad — officially — changed the way I think about everything.

It sharpened my sense of what matters. It made me more protective of my time. It made me more intentional about the clients I take on.

The businesses that succeed long-term aren't the ones that grind hardest. They're the ones built on something worth protecting.

For me, that's family. This community. And the work we do to help local businesses grow.

North Platte, thank you for being a place worth building a life in.

Running a small business has taught me things no MBA ever could.

A few things I know now that I wish I'd known sooner:

→ Your reputation is your pipeline. In a community this size, how you treat people travels faster than any ad campaign.

→ Slow seasons are strategy seasons. When things quiet down, the temptation is to panic. The right move is to plan.

→ Relationships compound. The client you served well in year one refers two people in year three.

→ Showing up consistently is a competitive advantage. The ones who keep showing up are the ones people remember.

Build for the long game. Always.
