Iowa is full of great people, and Lexie Naylor is one of them! Lexie is building her career as a sixth-grade teacher at Iowa Valley Community School District in Marengo, but all summer long, she’s been serving up shakes and smiles at Oxford Overdrive Shake and Energy Hub. And even though she’s back in the classroom, you can still catch her behind the counter on weekends!

Thanks, Lexie, for your Iowa love and for choosing South Slope, both at work and at home. And apparently, it runs in the family. Her parents are diehard South Slope customers, too!

Keeping a fire department ready takes more than a good crew. It takes a community that’s supporting them.

South Slope was proud to present the Amana Benefited Fire District with a quarterly matching grant from Aureon. The funding will support operations and repairs, helping the team stay prepared to serve the Amana community.

Congratulate the crew in person at the Amana Fire Department’s Spaghetti Supper on Oct. 17.
