We were excited to award the Amana Heritage Society with a matching grant from Aureon and South Slope. The funds helped fund the purchase of a new computer and support their ongoing work to preserve and share Amana’s history.

The Society’s museums hold more than 300 years of history, dating back to the 1700s, and continue to bring that history to life through experiences like their Communal Meals at the Communal Kitchen Museum in Middle Amana. The next meal is scheduled for June 12.

Congratulations are in order for the Amana Benefited Fire District for receiving a matching grant from Aureon and South Slope. Funds from the grant helped replace the boiler at the fire station, supporting the space where their team prepares, responds and serves.

Reminder! The Amana Fire Department is hosting its 45th Annual Amana Fireman’s Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, June 6, from 7-11 a.m. at Middle Fire Station. 🥞
