for clients, but is completely free for candidates – both are required to set up a profile within the system, which can then be viewed by Wurrk community. Through an advanced and customizable search functionality, profiles are easy to find, favorite and contact, all within the Wurrk environment. In addition, Wurrk features an innovative scheduling interface that allows subscribing candidates to indicate their current and future work status, allowing potential employers to quickly identify not just the best qualified candidates, but also the ones that are available. In addition, Wurrk utilizes a crowd-powered social voucher system that enables the Wurrk community to “up-vote” quality candidates. The better feedback they get from peers and employers, the higher their Wurrk ranking.

Hello wurrkers!

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer so far. We wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you for signing up and joining us in this new venture. We are excited to have such talented freelancers on board!

We are currently working with some great clients, all of whom have big freelance needs. R/GA, Havas, Publicis.Sapient and Rauxa have been actively using wurrk and finding awesome talent along the way. We have deliberately kept our client list pretty lean throughout our beta phase. This has helped us make improvements to the site and provide a better experience for everyone.

As we continue to grow, we will be bringing more clients into the mix. We are in discussions with some big names right now and look forward to sharing our expanded client roster soon.

Thank you for your patience as we work to make wurrk as amazing as it can be. As always, please feel free to reach out at [email protected] with any suggestions.

Have a great weekend!

Silicon Slopes? I think we can all come up with a better name, but Utah is making its case as the next tech/creative hot spot.

It's one of the fastest-growing tech hubs in the country, with record amounts of venture capital flowing in, and is home to at least a half-dozen unicorns (companies valued at $1 billion or more) and plenty more "soonicorns" expected to hit that mark.

freelancers, does FOMOOO (fear of missing out on opportunities) keep you from taking vacation? it doesn't have to.

When you are living la vida freelance, summers can come and go without even a hint of a vacation. Taking intentional time off from your day-to-day affairs could be the most important thing you invest in all year – and for creative professionals all the more so. There’s no shortage

You've probably heard stories about creatives quitting their jobs to travel the world and look for adventure and creative opportunities in unexpected places. So, Alexandra Rønde Thielke and Rasmus Veggerby's story might sound familiar, at least on the surface.
