To my valued clients and friends:
As the new year approaches, I wish you a very happy one, and am letting you know of my new fee structure, starting January 1st. I am also including a list of the services I currently offer – but I’m always open to learning what I need to know to master a new challenge you may face.
Ivor Joseph Services and Fee Structure
As of January 1, 2018
Services offered for:
* smart home setup with Alexa or Google
* printers
* viruses and malware
* backup
* network/Wi-Fi
* Mac and Windows
* Microsoft Office support
* iPhone and Android support
* cloud support like Google drive and Onedrive
* television and related products (e.g. Xbox, apple TV, roku, cable boxes, Sonos sound systems).
Fee structure, effective January 1, 2015
* Base fee: $75 an hour
* Weekday house calls within my geographical range: minimum one hour charge; added time will be in half-hour increments. For instance, if we work together 30 minutes the charge will be $75; if we work together one hour and 10 minutes, the charge will be $110. I reserve the right to begin to charge for travel time from Bronxville. However, if I do so, you will have plenty of warning first.
* Weekday phone calls: minimum charge will be for 15 minutes, and calls will be charged in 15-minute increments. For instance if we talk for 20 minutes, the charge will be $35.
* Weekend services will be limited to emergences and special cases that can only be handled on the weekend.
* Weekend house calls: minimum of two hours will be charged, plus a $25 convenience fee. For instance if we work together for half an hour, the charge will $175.
* Weekend phone calls: weekday rate, plus a $25 convenience fee.
* Rates for services provided outside of Westchester, NYC and nearby NJ will be negotiated on a case by case basis.
* Retainer clients: I am happy to discuss setting up a retainer agreement.
* Equipment purchases will require payment up front.
* Email interaction: charged at the same rate as phone calls.
