Storytelling opens doors. In 2015 we're taking a break from day to day store operations to grow our wholesale business, travel, and rejuvenate creatively.

As a story strategist, my favorite spaces are the ones where community isn’t just a buzzword, it’s built into the experience. Enter

A Friday afternoon inside this space looks like:

Bri (.cookies) sharing her coveted, delicious cookies through the window

Beautiful new paintings dropped off by Michelle (.studio)

First-timers and regulars floating through to browse the curated mix of vintage and new treasures

I also sat down with owner Ali to map out plans for the months ahead. Salvation officially turns ONE on November 1st, and trust me... we have some amazing things in store for you.

Make sure you’re following so you don’t miss a thing!

Chocolate makes people happy, but local chocolate bringing the community together? Even better! 🍫

I sat down with Kevin Halligan, Program Director at the Shoreline Lake Forest Park Senior Center, to talk about an exciting project: the First Annual Chocolate Festival!
This event is a true win-win-win:

* For you: Sample delicious locally made chocolates and meet the talented artisans behind them.

* For local chocolatiers: A platform to showcase their craft, share samples, and sell their products.

* For our Senior Center: Ticket proceeds directly support vital local programs while introducing more neighbors to this vital space.

🎟️ Mark Your Calendars:
* Tickets Go On Sale: August 24th
* Event Date: October 24th

To ensure that the chocolatiers have plenty of treats ready for everyone, grab your tickets early!

A big thank you to Kevin for sharing his sweet vision with us. Just like the Senior Center, chocolate has a way of bringing people together.

My Story Strategy Studio project today: Hand applying “What’s Your Story?” stickers to my business card envelopes.

Inside these envelopes are scratch off cards that reveal questions like: “What’s your superpower?”

When you ask someone that question, they almost always default to their resume or hard skills. In business and storytelling, we are so conditioned to focus on traditional metrics that we forget to honor the unmeasurable stuff like our intuition, our creative instincts, and the way we adapt when things do not go according to plan.

They might not fit into a neat conventional box, but those unmeasurable superpowers are what make your story genuinely compelling.

Which brings me to the splint on my right hand in this clip!

I am currently healing from hand surgery, so I am working on my left handed ambidexterity to get studio tasks done. Experiencing a temporary loss as someone who uses their hands constantly is not easy, but my superpower right now is tapping into creativity to learn from the moment as I adapt.

Consider this your friendly reminder to honor your own superpowers today. But even more than that, pay attention to those quiet superpowers in the people around you and take a moment to tell them out loud. They might not even realize the incredible, positive impact they are making in your life or work together.

Are you a Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, or Sophia?
Me? I’m all of the above.

The original S*x and the City icons (Miami edition).

Watching The Golden Girls in my 20s was a staple. But watching women own their lives, their careers, and their fierce friendships hits SO different now. Like The Golden Girls, in your 50s and 60s you realize your history, your resilience, and your lived experience aren’t just things to look back on. They’re the foundation for writing bold new chapters.

A memory popped up in my feed from 2020 when I led a Golden Girls product line at Re-marks with ABC Disney. It was such a fun team effort with my favorite long time collaborator Shanghee Shin , our design team, and sales crew to get these onto shelves at Target, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.
Looking back at this project isn’t just about nostalgia for me. It’s a reminder that our stories carry real weight.

At FRONT DOOR creative, that’s the heart of what I do: helping women, founders, and brands take ownership of their unique stories, step into their power, and build what’s next.

We’re honoring where we’ve been, but we are here to take up space and keep telling new stories.

Yesterday I walked through the shop with Ali from to plan her mid-year reset for the upcoming holiday season.

She handed off a bundle of vintage treasures, and I spent this morning in my studio turning them into a custom library of digital assets. Since her brand relies on upcycling and real-world connection, this lets her online marketing match the authentic texture of her physical space.

Swipe to watch physical treasures turn into digital assets! ➡️

What objects represent your brand, project, or business? How can you make your social media and digital marketing feel more authentic?
