Did you know that back-to-back video meetings cause a dangerous buildup of beta waves in the brain, associated with high stress? Without breaks between calls, your brain gets no chance to reset. It leads to severe cognitive fatigue by mid-afternoon. Transition periods are biologically necessary.

Tip: If possible, schedule a 10-minute buffer between meetings. Use it to close your notes, reset your thoughts, use the bathroom, and breathe before the next one.

Surprising hack to try: The Coffee Nap
Drink a coffee, then immediately take a 15-20 minute nap. Caffeine takes about 20 minutes to enter your bloodstream. During that time, a short nap clears adenosine (the sleep pressure chemical) from your brain receptors. So when the caffeine kicks in, it has more open receptors to work with. Best taken after lunch.

Did you know that warmer environments measurably increase cognitive load? The brain is working harder just to maintain concentration in the heat.
Tip: If you have control over your room temperature, aim for 20–22°C during focused work. A cooler room is a genuine cognitive advantage.

Healthy hack to try this week: Lower Your Screen Brightness After 7 pm
Turn your screen brightness down to its lowest comfortable setting after 7 pm. Additionally, enable Night Mode or Warm Mode on all devices. Bright screen light in the evening suppresses melatonin production and delays sleep onset.
