I wasn’t prepared for the journey ahead.
Two thousand miles in two days.
Driven by a single call for help.
When we arrived in Colton, California, the scene was heartbreaking —
Over 30 small dogs trapped in a nightmare of neglect.
Chihuahuas, terrier mixes, pomeranians, and more —
All bearing the scars of hoarding: infections, parasites, wounds left untreated, nails grown long enough to curl.

They didn’t bark much.
They didn’t run.
They just looked at us — tired, scared, unsure if this was real.

But we promised them something new.
Not just rescue.
Not just survival.
A second chance.

Thanks to the incredible advocates on the ground, and Priceless Pet Rescue’s partnership, 13 of these brave souls have already found foster care and will soon find loving homes.

This is why we drive through the night.
Why we push further than anyone expects.
Because every one of these dogs deserves a bright future — free from pain, full of love.

They weren’t just animals to save.
They were lives to restore.
