I AM LITERALLY SHAKING WITH RAGE. My lights were flickering so I called a local repairman and he immediately manipulated me into paying $14,000 for a mandatory emergency panel upgrade. I come home from work to find he completely ripped out eight feet of my exterior wall with a sledgehammer just to fit this hideous gray box! He did not even put the safety cover on the live breakers and told me I have to pay him an extra $2,500 emergency dispatch fee if I want him to come back and finish closing it up before the incoming thunderstorm hits tonight. He is literally holding my family's physical safety hostage to extort thousands of dollars from me. What are my legal options to get this criminal arrested?!

I am extremely frustrated with the work performed by a licensed master electrician we hired to rewire our home office.
We paid $1,200 for the job, and now I am seriously questioning the quality and safety of the installation. The wiring was run horizontally through load-bearing studs, and I do not see any protective nail plates installed where the cables pass through the framing.
When I asked about the materials and installation, I was told that the plastic junction boxes were “self-fusing” in the event of a fire. That explanation did not make sense to me, and my cousin, who is a firefighter, said he has never heard of that being a valid safety feature.
My concern is that this room may now have electrical and fire-safety issues that could affect the renovation, our inspection, or even our homeowner’s insurance.
When I asked the electrician to return and install metal boxes or address the concerns, he refused and gave an explanation that did not seem professional or code-based.
At this point, I am trying to decide whether I am overreacting or whether this needs to be escalated formally. Should I have the work inspected by another licensed electrician, file a complaint with the licensing board, or pursue legal action if the installation is found to be unsafe?

We are having electric run for our new hot tub and the electrician was appalled at how this panel is configured. He refuses to do any work for the hot tub unless we let him fix the issues (which we are doing). What are all the things wrong with this pic?

Help figure this out
All right, first things first : didn't do this monstrosity. I did remove those 90s w/ offset to a 90 kicked. English isn't my first language.
This made me think : was that the right path? We are a small company, not used to those types of runs. We aren't those who use trigo to calculate parallel offsets etc.
I am the type to try and learn to better myself and better our apprentices.
1- was it the right entry into the box? IMO I'd enter on the right side of the box, but I'm mainly interested if it was the right order.
2- yes, the runs could've been tighter, otherwise was it fine?
Any other constructive feedback?
