It's been so long since I last posted some work. Truth be told, life has been very busy because...twins 👩‍👦‍👦but happy to share some projects that I was able to finish this year.

The branding for Home Joy Designs - a boutique interior design based in Virginia, was defineteley one of my favorite projects. So happy to have found such a dream client and bring their vision into life.

Sketching is one of my favorite parts when it comes to logo design. It's that feeling of the blank page that is intimidating but also liberating in the same time. And having settled on some good concepts before starting sketching make things way easier.

Full visual identity for Democratic Knowledge Project, a civic education provider based at Harvard University.
The final logo concept was a typography-based solution, inspired by the vernacular or protest posters and signage. The combination of the lettermark with the wordmark centers around the name thus conveying a sense of confidence, history and stability. The letter p is purposely lengthened to express verticality, a sense of action and boldness.
Purple was chosen as the main color for the brand as metaphor for its symbolic reflection of bi-partisan unity.
