Patricia of is a Brand and Webdesigner who caters to her signature “Fancy Girl Aesthetic” - unabashedly feminine, elegant and clean.

The delicate beauty and sophisticated elements on this moodboard certainly evoke those descriptions and inspires many ballerina fantasies!

As designers we are already planning our holiday season products and presentations. You would be heralded as a genius by taking a few cues from this mood board. Ice blues, winter sky greys, touch of pewter. Gold metallic watercolor is truly magical.

Texture, typography and tone are harmonious and heavenly. Swan lake is a masterpiece and these inspiring clips can take the commonplace towards extraordinary.

Perusing the her feed will make your urge to shop - for your next desk space delight - irresistible!

All week I have been swooning over this featured post because it showcases the quintessential reasons to love the fall season.

Rich chocolate browns, deep roast coffee hues, toffee&taupe, plus a hint of cream. And that sounds like read a cafe menu. Meaningfully, this moodboard is really an exploration of how “colorful” deep earth tones can be.

This post portrays a sense of “chic casual comfort” any fellow ladyboss hopes to exude on her zoom call or design workshop.

Each that participate, leads me to the work of some amazing designers. Last week I gathered a few of the posts that represent some of the best moodboards IG has to offer!

First off is a piece by Louise Ross of The Autumn Rabbit- a custom illustration and branding studio.

“Glamour” is the theme and the presence is refreshing take on that aesthetic. From the vibrant colors to the late 70s typography, I was delighted by this creative stylescape. Flirty, fashion centric and a toast to final days of the summer season.

How do you create your Moodboards?

Canva has a great design tool for everything including Moodboards.

With the free membership to Canva, you have access to so many pro design elements. Actually, they have over 50,000 free templates!

Choice is good, yet having this many options can be overwhelming.

In this carousel, I outline how to create an “Inspired Moodboard” for your next bullet journal theme using Canva.

When it comes to starting a new inspiration project. I recommend *Not* starting with a blank template, just yet.

You will want to give your mind the freedom to explore new paths to creative inspiration. Start by gathering lots of images and clips from sources like a Museum digital Archive - TheMet or Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Move beyond Pinterest and your usual browsing workflow to define a foundation for your signature style. Cultivate your creative core with references from history, and other fields, research and archives. These rich, deep resources will provide countless jump off points for discovering Unique expression of old Ideas made new.

For example: What would happen if you combined (Paul Rand & Michelangelo & Pop Art??

Energy invested in working out creative ways to link disparate ideas will spark lead you down new pathways make new connections.

Your thoughts and notes will have original, new, fresh ways to compose a theme.

On the Amalfi Coast, Italy there is a hiking trail called “Pathway of the Gods” because of the gorgeous views of cliffs, islands and Mediterranean Sea. Cultures in that region have existed for millennia.

Imagine watch artifacts and treasures you could find along ancient coastal path. Magic, mysteries and dreams.

New season is upon us and there is much change and dynamics in the air. Think of ancient civilizations and the stories humanity has been wrestling with for eons. Everything changes, timescales are different.

The gift of having a mind that dreams and imagines is that we can visit worlds from different histories. Take wisdom and comfort from the sages of the ages.

Bulllet journaling community is flourishing with creativity, color and even sleek minimalist spreads. I 💖 it ALL. Aside from the artistic inspiration the actual SYSTEM developed by Ryder Carroll is Genius for numerous reasons.

I purchased these beauties back in January, when 2020 was full of innocent optimism. Events knocked over all our plans, and I left my presents on the shelf, hoping I could start anew in coming months.

Summer turns to Autumn and I always feel a burst of creativity, perhaps years of aligning with the academic calendar 📅 September is a new chapter!

Desert mirages form when intense heat of the sands contrast with brisk air above ground - to bend and reflect light - and an oasis seems to appear in distance. In the moment the illusion sparks real reaction in your mind.

Natural phenomena can produce magic.

Wildflowers in modern botanical arrangement. These are all illustration elements from my upcoming design kit. I think it would look good as a greeting card or personalized stationery. Wheat 🌾 and bronze colors late summer and early fall. I don’t want to let go of the warm weather just yet.

Work in progress, how minimal do I go? I love working with the subtleties of texture and tone I could go on for days on one piece. Today I have done a few pieces, rounding out the “Wildflower West” collection.

So I have hit pause, get some dinner, then we will see if more is needed.
