We are done staying silent. The news from Bondi Beach is gut-wrenching, but sadness isn't enough anymore.

A 10-year-old girl is dead. She was murdered at a Hanukkah celebration by Islamist terrorists. That is the reality.

The attackers weren't ghosts. One was a Pakistani national who had been here since '98. The other was his Australian-born son. Two generations of radicalization, right under our noses, legally armed and ready to kill.

How many more "Sajid Akrams" are walking our streets, hiding behind visa statuses and legal gun permits while holding onto violent ideologies?
