Father’s Day is every day. 💙

A calendar may give us one official day to celebrate dads, but the love, guidance, patience, and presence they give deserve recognition every single day.

To my husband—you show up, day after day, in the ways that matter most. Through the big milestones, the everyday moments, the laughter, the lessons, the encouragement, and the love you pour into our three incredible kids. They are growing up with the gift of having a father who leads by example, loves without limits, and is always in their corner.

Watching the bond you share with each of them is one of life’s greatest blessings.

And everyday, we also celebrate all those who are “like a dad.” The stepdads, grandfathers, uncles, mentors, coaches, family friends, and father figures who choose to love, guide, protect, and show up. Your impact reaches farther than you may ever know.

Here’s to the dads—and the like-a-dads—who make every day feel like Father’s Day. 💙

So You Want to Learn About Juneteenth? I sure do! A commitment to collective liberation.

On June 19, 1865, enslaved African-Americans in Galveston, Texas, were told they were free. A century and a half later, people in cities and towns across the U.S. continue to celebrate the occasion.

It marks the end of slavery in the United States on June 19, 1865 and commemorates African American freedom.
It reflects the reality of institutional delay, but also the resilience of those who dared to believe in a freedom they couldn’t yet touch.
This week is so significant in American history, and every single day. Young kids will now have this within the fabric of their education!
