Just shipped something new. Would love your thoughts:

Describe your idea in plain English and ship a production Next.js site with a CMS, APIs, and collaboration built in. SSR · SEO-ready · Infinite scale.

Salesforce just signed a deal to acquire Contentful (announced June 1, 2026, expected to close in Q3 of Salesforce's FY2027). If you're a Contentful customer, that changes the calculus.
So we wrote an honest MeshBase vs Contentful comparison. Yes, we build MeshBase, and we still call out where Contentful is the stronger pick.
A few things it covers:

Contentful is a headless CMS. It doesn't build your site, you still need engineers for the frontend. MeshBase generates a full Next.js app with the CMS already wired in, from a prompt.
Pricing: Contentful's Lite plan is $300/month for a single project. MeshBase runs multiple projects on the free tier.
MeshBase matches Contentful on structured content modeling. Contentful is ahead on multi-locale localization today, which we have in active development.
MeshBase is independent, and not for sale to an enterprise platform.

Read the full breakdown:

MeshBase just got 4× more reliable overnight!

Anthropic released Claude Opus 4.8 last week, and it's now the default agent generating every MeshBase site. The headline number: the new model is around four times less likely than Opus 4.7 to let code flaws slip through unflagged.

What that means in practice:
✓ Cleaner first drafts (fewer "actually, can you redo that" rounds)
✓ The AI tells you when it's not sure, instead of guessing
✓ Bigger multi-page jobs finish in one prompt, not three or four
No plan change. No opt-in. No setting to flip. It's already running behind every prompt you send.

Full breakdown with benchmarks, a before/after table for common tasks, and what to try this week:

Disclosure: MeshBase uses Anthropic's Claude as the default agent powering site generation and editing. Claude Opus 4.8 is the default model as of June 1, 2026.

MeshBase and Bolt.new both let you describe a project in plain English and get back a working full-stack web app in minutes. From the outside the workflows look similar, but the products are not. Bolt.new is a chat window that generates a single-page React app. MeshBase is a workflow built around the AI generator: a Next.js project with a built-in CMS, kanban board, calendar, media library, and image generation, and managed hosting.

This is a head-to-head from the team that builds MeshBase. We have an obvious bias and we will tell you straight up where Bolt.new is the right tool for the job. By the end you should know which one fits your project.

MeshBase or Bolt.new for your next AI build? Honest head-to-head on full-stack scope, SEO, built-in CMS, kanban, calendar, media library, multi-app workflow, and pricing.

Framer started as a design tool and grew into a website builder with AI generation layered on top. The visual canvas is genuinely impressive, the brand-focused output is gorgeous out of the box, and for design-led teams it's hard to match. MeshBase comes from a different angle: AI generates a complete full-stack Next.js project with its own database, API routes, and a built-in editorial workflow. We compete with Framer when teams want production-grade output: full code ownership, a CMS deep enough for ongoing editorial work, and a secure REST API for omnichannel delivery to mobile apps, smartwatches, and other clients.

This is an honest head-to-head from the team that builds MeshBase. We have an obvious bias, and we'll be transparent about it. We'll also say outright where Framer is better than us, because pretending otherwise wastes your time.
