Islip Arts Council is excited to once again be part of this incredible community event! Belinda H. Rubino will host a shell art table for all to enjoy.
It's been 12 years since our town received this beautiful playground built in memory of Madeleine Hsu? Through the efforts of the Where Angels Play Foundation. Islip Beach was chosen as one of the special locations to honor children whose lives ended far too soon due to gun violence. Their vision brought together so many of our local community organizations to create this lasting tribute.
Every July, in honor of Maddie's birthday, our community comes together to celebrate her life while celebrating the spirit of West Islip. It has become one of the most heartwarming traditions of the summer.
Join us for an evening filled with a DJ, food trucks, carnival games, a dunk tank, clowns, family activities, and so much more! Admission is free (food and refreshments are available for purchase), so bring your children, grandchildren, family, friends, and neighbors for a wonderful night together.
We hope to see you there as we honor Maddie's memory and celebrate the community she continues to inspire.
