Inspired by the incomparable Mae C. Jemison - engineer, physician and NASA astronaut.

We'll have a collection of cards onsite you can pick and send to your friends, lovers, family, yourself.

Very excited about this Google Doodle! Recently purchased a book on Jackie Ormes from Material Life. Jackie broke ground and paved the way for Black women in the creative field. We love her drive, spirit, and activism.

She is DEFINITELY on the list to include in our Black Creatives to Know monthly series.

Jackie Ormes is widely recognized as the first and only Black female newspaper cartoonist of her time in the United States.
