Originally from the Boston area, she grew up playing with paper and experimenting with textures, colors, and patterns to create unique compositions for cards and scrapbooks. She later entered into the world of digital design while attending Wesleyan University in Connecticut and majoring in Studio Art with a concentration in Architecture. After graduation, Elana explored various fields and gained
experience in corporate graphic design, web design, creative marketing strategy, business development, and teaching (view earlier work). Through it all, she never ceased to be enchanted with paper communiqué and continued to design invitations and stationery in her free time. While making the transition from New England to her home in New Orleans, Louisiana, Elana realized that she wanted to offer her design services and business acumen to many individuals and businesses, not just one. She was inspired, and decided to take her creative passion to the next level. In 2014, Elana Klein was born.
