I wanna say it’s been a ride with this one, spanning about 4-5 years of work, retouching, scrapping, going back and reworking joints to put together this body of work. I think the title is self explanatory. Made through a long depression period & finding out who I really am, who I am to people, and how I feel about everything & everyone. Thankful for all the people that kept me alive over these years and who worked with me on this. Thankful for all the folks that kept me going & believed in me, and the all the producers who’ve lended their talents to this and allowed me to put some touches over their production. And last, but certainly not least, thankful for all the folks who revealed themselves to me over the years and skated, leaving me for dead and taking back any fake faith in me that they’ve had before.
If you don’t know by now know this: I’m not these n***as. I don’t do gimmicks, don’t have geriatric roll-outs or people on my d**k tryna bite my s**t. I’m an artist. Have always been since a kid. I’ve tried too long to keep up and do what I’ve seen my peers do to little or no success. I’ve always did my own f**king thing, and let this project be the testament to that.
