I just realized I never shared the finished product from the community mural. I worked alongside some fantastic artists for this amazing backdrop to The Performing Arts Pavilion in the New Lenox Commons. Go check it out!

Not everything you make will be a masterpiece—and that’s kind of the point. Growth happens when you play, experiment, and try things just to see if you can. Some pieces work out, others don’t, but every single one should teach you something.

Still grinning from ear to ear over this birthday gift 🎉

My incredibly talented friend surprised me with this drawing, and honestly, I’ll always treasure handmade gifts the most. They carry so much heart (and serious skill, in this case 👏). Teddy and tacos… two of my favorite things!

My friend doesn’t have a social media presence yet, but when he’s ready, you can bet I’ll be his biggest hype squad. In the meantime, if you’ve ever wanted a portrait done—colored pencil or oils—he’s your guy. Message me and I’ll happily get you connected.

So grateful for this gift, but even more grateful for the friendship behind it.
