FirstEnergy has confirmed that the issue originated from a major substation in the Brookville area, where a circuit breaker unexpectedly went open, de-energizing the transmission lines that supply power to our area.
β οΈ Important Note: This power outage was not related to the fuel spill that occurred earlier today just outside of New Bethlehem. The timing of the two events was coincidental, and they are being handled separately by the appropriate authorities.
