First of all - it is sprinkling rain 🌧️, I had Cheddar cheese with ham in my scrambled eggs and too accompany was Red potatoes with Parmesan and Lemon Pepper seasoning (oven fried of course). I will call it lunch and or brunch! Stay Safe Y’all!

It's about time to upgrade my personal desktops solid state drive. I was hoping for a NVMe drive but the motherboard would have to be replaced too. Decisions..Decisions!

Best Bang for the Buck!
When upgrading slightly used Laptops; What component can I change out to get the most performance, at the least cost? As I have done this many times to save on my replacement costs, I already know the answer:
#1 Change out the mechanical hard-drive for a Solid State Drive.
#2 Add more RAM.
#3 Change to a faster CPU.
When working on the fleet (150+), I definitely suggest just changing to a solid state drive. In my experience, I have replaced only a few bad Memory Sticks, even less CPU's, but lot's of hard-drives.
I guess the real question is what do I replace when my whole fleet has nothing but Solid State Drives? I'm guessing that the answer then will be:
Faster Solid State Drives....
