Soundcraft ghost overhaul! 👻 we fully serviced and upgraded the channel strips, master section and power supply. Also addressed a couple design flaws!

This was a super fun one we did a couple months back.. Neumann UN57 power supply. Our client preferred to not have an external step up transformer so we modified this one with a voltage doubler circuit and it worked out great. It was to be used with his UM57 so we also modified it to have a polar pattern selector along with a custom laser etched faceplate.

The Collins 6M is a piece that we have been unable to find any documentation on. It came to us in disrepair with a missing input transformer, bad output transformer, and replaced power transformer. We did it justice by sourcing a period correct Collins input transformer and a bad to the bone NOS UTC CG-19 output transformer. We replaced the less than useful VU range control with a vintage Daven balanced 10dB per step 100dB attenuator and calibrated the VU to what you’d expect; 1.228v at the output at 0dB VU. This thing has the sauce! Midrange beefiness that justifies the rack space! Will come with our drawn out schematic of the circuit. Can modify for phantom supply for additional charge.

Wrapping up service on these LAMM ML2 mono block amps. They utilize a 6C33C for a single ended output with a second 6C33C tube as a plate voltage regulator. A big sounding 18watts per amp!!

We recently completed a full restoration of this Neve Melbourne. Over 600 capacitors replaced, dozens of issues tracked down, and even refinished the wood trim 🙃 This thing is ready for its new home!

We have shot out loads of different components and make key choices all over the place to get these DIALED.
