The Collins 6M is a piece that we have been unable to find any documentation on. It came to us in disrepair with a missing input transformer, bad output transformer, and replaced power transformer. We did it justice by sourcing a period correct Collins input transformer and a bad to the bone NOS UTC CG-19 output transformer. We replaced the less than useful VU range control with a vintage Daven balanced 10dB per step 100dB attenuator and calibrated the VU to what you’d expect; 1.228v at the output at 0dB VU. This thing has the sauce! Midrange beefiness that justifies the rack space! Will come with our drawn out schematic of the circuit. Can modify for phantom supply for additional charge.
