That button in the corner snaps the pack to top view and side view. And if you select a few cases and then click any one of them, it blows the whole selection up to fill the screen, so you can actually read what is in there.

You can plan the load at home in your robe instead of fighting Vectorworks or AutoCAD.

You're almost certainly underusing your Claude subscription.

I was working out freight for a cargo move the other day. I gave it a rough case list and a 48 by 40 skid, and it built the whole pack through the Truck Packer API. It got the SKB 1637 dimensions wrong the first time. I told it I've stacked those before and it went back and fixed them.

If you missed it: multi-truck packing shipped in v0.10 on August 12. One pack can hold four trailers, each with its own crew view and its own PDF, plus a container library so you are not re-typing the same 53-footer every time. Worth a re-read now that each of those trailers prints its own QR code.

Truck Packer v0.10 is the biggest release since launch: multi-truck packing on Business accounts, a full container library, a loading dock inspector, per-truck crew views and PDFs, and AutoPack into the container you pick.

You walk up to a truck somebody else packed, the top layer is all you can see, and whoever built the pack is on a different truck. v0.10.2 closes that gap: the crew view now has a QR code, and it prints on the PDF export. Tape it inside the truck door and anyone who walks up can scan it, no account needed, and they can check cases off as they go. It is generated per container, so a three-trailer pack prints three codes and each one opens only that trailer's load list.

Every now and then you walk up to a truck and the load is just a wall. You cannot see what is under the top layer.

So 10.2 puts a QR code on the crew view. Print the sheet, tape it inside the door, and anybody on the crew can scan it and get the pack on their phone. No account, no login. The progress slider walks the load in order, so they can see what goes in next.

What is still open on the Truck Packer roadmap, in seven slides.

Multi-truck planning shipped in v0.10. Bus trailers with wheel wells and a stackable constraint have not, and on both of them the behavior is the hard part rather than the geometry. Should a wheel well be a hard block or a warning? Is "do not stack" one case, a pair, or a weight limit?

Every shop we ask answers that differently, so we are asking instead of guessing. 25 minutes on video, bring your pack list, and tell us which one goes first.

AutoPack only packs what you've selected. Grab the lighting cases, send those to truck one, then grab the audio and send it to truck two. You pick the cases and you pick the truck, and it solves just that. No giant all-or-nothing solve for the whole load. truckpacker.com

Truck Packer will stack anything on anything today, and we are about to fix that. Here are the real rules from the shop floor: the four square foot ATA threshold, caster dishes, and why the caster math runs on three wheels instead of four. If your shop has a rule this list is missing, tell us:

The stacking rules a crew chief carries in their head, written down: what ATA 300 actually requires of a lid, why caster dishes decide the stack, the caster math on threes instead of fours, and which cases are never on the bottom. Tell us where this is wrong before we build it.
