This Saturday, March 21, from 10 AM to 3 PM, the AES- Belmont Section hosts its annual Spring AESBU Convention at Belmont University. There's a full day of activities and fun planned, and the event is free and open to the public.

Four panels will take place throughout the day, featuring the team at Mara Machines, Joe Carrell, Women in Audio, and Bill Schnee. Vintage King’s Jeff Gastineau will also be on hand with swag, copies of PLAYBACK, and time to talk gear, alongside our friends at Harrison Audio, Teegarden Audio, and more.

Our friends at Ivy Hall are hosting an in-person, five-week Masterclass series with Craig Anderton starting February 16th. Craig has been part of the recording world since the 1960s and has written countless books sharing his deep industry knowledge.

This series is a great opportunity to dig into recording, mixing, and creative workflows, while also checking out Ivy Hall’s beautiful studio. Vintage King’s David Fisk helped bring this incredible API 2448 into the space in 2025.

While in town from Vermont for an event at WELCOME TO 1979, Ian Steinberg and Dan Rome of Big Lake Recording Company stopped by Vintage King Nashville and met Audio Consultant Cody Angel for the first time.

They hit it off immediately, chatting about gear and listening to monitors in the showroom. Their connection continued to grow, leading Big Lake to purchase some gear and, eventually, work with Cody to acquire a beautiful 16-channel Neve Genesys G32 console.
