AT&T installed the customers equipment on the main level of the home, but the provided equipment just wasnโ€™t reaching key areasโ€”especially the ๐›๐จ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ, where weak Wi-Fi made video calls, streaming, and general internet use frustrating. ๐ˆ ๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ ๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ž๐ฑ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ก๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐œ๐จ๐š๐ฑ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  paired to some ๐„๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐ž๐ญ-๐ญ๐จ-๐‚๐จ๐š๐ฑ (๐Œ๐จ๐‚๐€) ๐š๐๐š๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ (which support ๐Ÿ๐†๐›๐ฉ๐ฌ+ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐ž๐๐ฌ) to connect their fiber service to the homeโ€™s original low voltage wiring distribution panel upstairs.

๐Ÿ’ก We achieved everything the customer was hoping for, which was improved connectivity in their bonus room, but we made sure to take it a step further by offering the option of better connectivity all throughout the house and even better coverage in their garage, and outdoor living space.

Recent Installation: Ubiquiti Unifi G4 Doorbell Pro ๐Ÿšช๐Ÿ“น

I recently installed Ubiquiti's Unifi G4 Doorbell Pro (WiFi model) at my home, and I wanted to share the creative solution I used to get this system up and running since our house didnโ€™t have any prior doorbell wiring.

Using an in-wall AC 110v-240v to DC adapter, I tapped into an existing junction box from an old wall sconce (now cleverly hidden behind our address sign). From there, I fished a USB-C to USB-C cable from the junction box to the back of the G4 Doorbell Pro mounting plate, powering it perfectly without any visible wiring.

-A 5MP front-facing camera for crisp visuals
-An 8MP downward-facing "package" camera to monitor deliveries
