Today I was fortunate to hear Dr. Ed Jackson Jr., executive architect for the Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial speak about his experience overseeing the momentous project. Seeing and reflecting on the memorial and everything Dr. King stood for - I couldn’t help but to be reminded to be hopeful. Through trials and tribulations - collectively and individually - we must press on. We must remain hopeful. 💪🏽

So we’re 16 days in... something that I heard recently was to not live in concepts but in behavior. In the past I’ve put dates on things i. e. I will do this by such date. But that never worked for me. So this year I’m much more focused on my daily actions no matter how small. So far that’s been working for me. Because I know that these small steps will eventually get me to where I want to be. 🙌🏽💪🏽 #2020
