I took some time to quickly create and scratch the itch. It’s been a challenge to find time to create outside of my job since becoming a mum but I’ve set up a station in my home office that allows me to throw down some colorful shapes when the urge strikes. Not everytime, but at least it makes it easier to DO SOMETHING that could turn into something bigger! Not setting an end goal or needing to complete it all at once removes a huge hurdle to allow me to still create and get in the flow. I have a plan for this little lassie.

Treated myself to some new pens and intentionally branches out to colours I don’t typically use. I have favorites and teal is not one of them. Pretty happy with what happened here during a few episodes of The White Lotus.

This is what we do around here. I love seeing my original artwork make it to product! It’s so satisfying 🪷Any designer can relate- I make so much artwork and a lot of it lives inside a computer for a lonnng time. The process to get product to shelves is a long and sometimes bumpy road and many experts are involved to make it happen!

How was your weekend? We moved house a few weeks ago and I just now found the box with our plates! 😂 Turns out when you just label a box ‘kitchen’ it’s not all that helpful. Anyway, we got to use those some party paper plates for a while that somehow were easier to find ☺️

One of my favorite from my new batch! I’ve been off this wagon for a minute but the desire to create is always there. Sometimes I just have to shuffle priorities and that means I don’t get to spend luxurious amounts of time painting. I don’t stress about that anymore and I know now that a break does me good. Im excited to drop this next batch soon.
